Costco sells Goodyear wiper blades for almost
\nhalf the price that you will pay
\non the outside and they are made in the U.S.A.
\nRead and do the following.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately our politicians and top CEO’s have\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \"Star<\/a>
\npushed for trade to China and
\nMexico for years so Americans are now out of work.
\nDid you know that there is no
\nelectric coffee maker made in the US and that
\nthe only kitchen appliances made in the US is
\nViking? This information
\ncame from the a report by Diane Sawyer. Hopefully this
\nhas changed or will soon!!<\/p>\n

I DIDN’T KNOW HALLMARK
\nCARDS WERE MADE IN CHINA! That is also why I
\ndon’t buy cards at Hallmark anymore, They are
\nmade in China and are
\nmore expensive!
\nI buy them at Dollar Tree – 50 cents each and made in
\nUSA<\/p>\n

I have
\nbeen looking at the blenders available on the
\nInternet.
\nKitchen Aid is MADE IN
\nthe US. Top of my list already…<\/p>\n

Yesterday I was in Wal Mart looking for a
\nwastebasket. I found some
\nmade
\nin China for $6.99. I didn’t want to pay that much so I
\nasked the lady if they had any others.
\nShe took me to another department
\nand they had some at $2.50 made in USA. They are
\njust as good. Same
\nas a kitchen
\nrug I needed. I had to look, but I found some made in
\nthe USA – what a concept! – and they were
\n$3.00 cheaper.<\/p>\n

We are being
\nbrainwashed to believe that everything that comes from
\nChina and Mexico is cheaper. Not so.<\/p>\n

One Light Bulb at
\na Time..<\/p>\n

I was in
\nLowe’s the other day and just out of curiosity, I looked
\nat the hose attachments. They were all
\nmade in China. The next day I was
\nin Ace Hardware and just for the heck of it I
\nchecked the hose attachments
\nthere. They were made in USA.<\/p>\n

Start looking, people . . …In our current
\neconomic situation, every little thing
\nwe buy or do affects someone else – most often, their
\njob.<\/p>\n

My grandson likes Hershey’s candy. I noticed, though, that it is
\nnow marked “made in Mexico.” I
\ndon’t buy it anymore.<\/p>\n

My favorite toothpaste Colgate is made in Mexico…now I
\nhave switched to Crest.<\/p>\n

You have to read the
\nlabels on everything.<\/p>\n

This past weekend I was at Kroger . . . I needed
\n60W light bulbs and Bounce dryer sheets.<\/p>\n

I was in the light bulb aisle,
\nand right next to the GE brand I
\nnormally buy — was an off-brand labeled,
\n“Everyday Value.” I picked up
\nboth types of bulbs and compared them: they were the same
\nexcept for the price . . .the GE bulbs
\ncost more than the Everyday Value
\nbrand, but the thing that surprised me the most was
\nthat that GE was made in MEXICO
\nand the Everyday Value brand was made in – you guessed
\nit – the USA at a company in Cleveland, Ohio.<\/p>\n

It’s Way past time to start
\nfinding and buying products you use every
\nday that are made right here in the USA.<\/p>\n

So, on to the next
\naisle: Bounce Dryer Sheets… yep, you guessed
\nit, Bounce cost more money and is made in
\nCanada. The Everyday Value brand cost
\nless, and was MADE IN THE USA! I did laundry
\nyesterday and the dryer sheets
\nperformed just like the Bounce Free I have been
\nusing for years, at almost half the price.<\/p>\n

My challenge to you
\nis to start reading the labels when you shop for
\neveryday things and see what you can find that is made
\nin the USA –
\nthe job you save
\nmay be your own or your neighbor’s!<\/p>\n

If you accept the challenge, pass this on to
\nothers in your address book so we can
\nall start buying American, one light bulb at a time!<\/p>\n

Stop buying from overseas companies – you’re
\nsending the jobs there.
\n(We should have awakened a decade ago….)<\/p>\n

Let’s get with the program and help our fellow
\nAmericans keep their
\njobs and create more jobs here in the USA.<\/p>\n
