Topping Out Piece 2016 Wilshire Grand Building

Ironworkers Local 433 topping out the Wilshire Grand Building in downtown Los Angeles. Attached to this Spire is a Christmas Tree and an American Flag. These are symbols of congratulations to all who took part in the erection of this project and to future jobs, may they be done with safety and prosperity in mind.
I love the days when I am part of these celebrations. It’s truly a great feeling of accomplishment and camaraderie that tends to stay with me for a long period after. Sometimes the memories afterwards stays with me for years.
Congratulations to all my Brother and Sister Ironworkers in being members who have now built the highest building this side (west) of the Mississippi. Right here in L. A.
