Hi Mom
I am sending this Years Mother’s Day Greeting a day early because I simply just can’t wait anymore… I Love You and that’s why. Plus if things didn’t work out regarding the internet use for this intended delivery, then I needed a chance to correct what ever needed to be corrected. I think though, after plenty of thought about this delivery method, that a successful message delivery format will have been attained…
So let’s see shall we:

The Actual Poem:
Littlest Sailboat
Poem by: Bernadette O’Brien
Copyright September 1995
There’s a lot of boats out here
San Pedro Harbor, on the peer
Looks like a giant parking lot
Small, medium, large size yachts
On sunny days, cruising along
It’s those darn Sea Gulls, from way beyond
Spotting out scraps, from way off far
Leaving us their business cards
Those friendly giants, in pursuit
Looking so good, in their gray suits
They jump, they dive, they play and hide
Those Dolphins share a lasting smile
Like a pup wagging it’s tail
Proud and lite, she goes and sails
So cute, parked right at the slip
She fits in, just like a stitch
Ever so small, but standing tall
She makes me just so happy
That’s what I call, Postcard Pretty
I really love it!
That was one big surprise and a welcomed one too!
Sent me on an emotional trip for sure.
I would have never guessed what you had in store for me Shano. Many thanks. l want the world to know how proud l am to have a son like you. I am blessed.
Love, Mom
So sweet, thanks for sharing the poem, the memories and the song.
I heart Shane’s mom. postcard pretty!
Nice Shane
Cool Shane, you finally got your mom’s poem recorded in what I believe is her voice. Reminds me of “Littlest Sailboat in the Harbor” when you were trying to put her poem to a song and then wrote a song about it. I think it’s really cool. Gotta love our Moms! Love you too bro!
Gotta Love Our Moms is Right Kevin
My Prayers are with yours tonight my friend
Love Ya Brother
