The Story Behind The Song is a new feature of the obriensedge.com web site. So far there has been three installments of unique stories regarding the songs: “It’s Safe To Be You” and: Chapter 2 _ “That’s The Way” also: “Chapter 3 _ “The Bluesman“. All 3 Chapters are loaded with photos highlighting each story of how the song came about and then developed to be what is on the albums by Shane O’Brien and O’Briens Edge. In some Chapters you may find two recorded versions in the Chapters display of that particular song. One version of the song as it was originally being written and recorded and the 2nd rendition may be Shane playing it for that Chapter featured as a highlight.
There may be many folks who read and see this new feature and say to themselves “Hey I took that picture” or “I recorded that track with him” or “I was at that gig“. To those particular friends I say “Don’t fret a thing all“. I’m just kicking this feature off and as things and web skills and understandings become more developed, it’ll be easier to remember the everything I should have remembered, type of thing… If you catch my drift. Heck this all has been such a blast, I try not to forget anything… Also remembered to share the vision too…
