Hi Mom

I am sending this Years Mother’s Day Greeting a day early because I simply just can’t wait anymore… I Love You and that’s why. Plus if things didn’t work out regarding the internet use for this intended delivery, then I needed a chance to correct what ever needed to be corrected. I think though, after plenty of thought about this delivery method, that a successful message delivery format will have been attained…
So let’s see shall we:

Instructions to be followed to the letter please:

2) Now that you have read that little story click this next link and go to the music player on the left hand side of the page. and select the first song and push play. Note that the player starts automatically and therefor you may have to push the stop button first since it may start on another unintended song I have within the selection. Just know that the first song is intended just for you and for Mother’s Day.

The Actual Poem:

Littlest Sailboat

Poem by: Bernadette O’Brien
Copyright September 1995

There’s a lot of boats out here

San Pedro Harbor, on the peer

Looks like a giant parking lot

Small, medium, large size yachts

On sunny days, cruising along

It’s those darn Sea Gulls, from way beyond

Spotting out scraps, from way off far

Leaving us their business cards

Those friendly giants, in pursuit

Looking so good, in their gray suits

They jump, they dive, they play and hide

Those Dolphins share a lasting smile

Like a pup wagging it’s tail

Proud and lite, she goes and sails

So cute, parked right at the slip

She fits in, just like a stitch

Ever so small, but standing tall

She makes me just so happy

That’s what I call, Postcard Pretty
